WANTED: PART TIME CROSSFIT COACHES

Qualified candidates should be at a minimum CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) Certified; Level 2 or Coaches prep Certified would be ideal.  We welcome Coaches with experience in fitness or sport specialisations or CrossFit Speciality Certifications that will bring a new dimension and skill set to the existing team.  It’s also desirable that candidates have other relevant fitness industry qualifications and experience.   If this is you, please forward a covering letter and CV to Lisa O’Neill: lisa@crossfitauckland.com

As a CrossFit coach is often responsible for the supervision of the club in the absence of management, we are keen to hear from candidates who are also computer literate, have administrative and leadership or supervisory experience.

SENIOR COACH OPPORTUNITY

For a short term in the New Year commencing January/February 2011 we have a temporary position for a Senior Coach to lead CrossFit Teens & Kids, CrossFit Women and On-Ramp programmes.  These special populations involve a high level of CrossFit fundamentals coaching and require a skilled and experienced coach.  This position may even be of interest to an experienced international coach who would like to combine a working holiday and visit New Zealand in our summer months.

ENDURANCE COACH

CrossFit Auckland is seeking to team up with a motivated fitness professional / run or multisport coach to develop and lead CrossFit Auckland Endurance programmes.  Qualified candidates should be at a minimum CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Endurance Certified; have experience in run training including coaching in POSE method, and have experience in building run training programmes.  The candidate should be an experienced runner having trained 5k to marathon distance.  POSE method (or similar style) of running is preferential as we believe in the scientific proof that this method reduces the risk of injuries and optimizes running efficiency.

An ideal candidate will design specific training programmes combining run and CrossFit training with a focus on the runner’s goals from 5k to ultra-marathon. The candidate would be responsible for networking within the North Shore and Auckland areas to create, build and develop the CrossFit Auckland Endurance community.  This position could include both group and private training and has the potential to be part time or full time dependant upon the successful candidates passion and drive to develop the endurance club.  Financial compensation is a flat coaching rate p/session plus bonus based on volume of clients.
